VoxCloud was founded by Rik Dekker and Sam Ditmeijer. We develop open-source apps that transform Nextcloud into a complete business platform — from intranet and metadata management to room booking, forms, and onboarding.
Our apps are used by universities, governments, businesses, and non-profits in the Netherlands and beyond.
We believe organizations deserve powerful, affordable software that they can self-host and manage. Nextcloud provides the foundation. We build the missing pieces: the enterprise functionality that large vendors only offer with expensive licenses and vendor lock-in.
VoxCloud strives towards a steward-owned business model. This means the company is governed in service of the product, its users, and the open-source community — not in service of external investors or profit maximization.
In practice, this means:
In time, we intend to formalize this in a suitable corporate structure, comparable to a steward-ownership entity. Until then, these principles guide all our decisions.
